MISSION

Excess Resource is focused on capturing the full value of Owner assets through value-added engineering, quality building inspections, and contractor vetting with the ultimate goal of reducing construction and operating costs and minimizing waste.

 

ENGINEERING SERVICES

Commercial and residential construction and reconstruction including feasibility analysis, design, and project management.

Forensic structural engineering for storm, insect, fungal, and soil settling damage.

  • Concrete slabs and walls that have cracked or are experiencing water infiltration.

  • Roofs with hail and storm damage.

  • Wood structures and timber frame with wood rot, insect damage, or fire damage.

INSPECTION SERVICES

Commercial and residential Chapter 17 Special Inspections:

  • Structural Concrete, Structural Wood, and Structural Steel

  • Post-tension structural concrete

  • Seismic inspection and testing

  • Shear wall, hold-down, and Anchor Tie-Down Systems

Commercial and residential inspections including:

  • Real Estate Buyer inspections to assess existing damage, existing structural concerns, and remodel feasibility.

  • Tennant inspections for damage, safety concerns, and general welfare of investment properties.

OWNERS REPRESENTATIVE

  • Construction drawing and contractor submittal review to ensure quality projects are developed from the start.

  • Coordination of contractor RFI’s before and during construction.

  • Cultivating relationships with all stakeholders before and during construction to ensure a seamless, cohesive project team.

    • Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Request for Information and submittal review.

    • Review and tracking of change orders to assign responsibility and ensure appropriate action is taken.

    • Ensure project tasks are completed as scheduled to keep your project ahead of schedule.
